How to

Tattoo Coverage

Step 1Cleanse the skin ensuring it is free from oils. Dermacolor Cleansing Lotion is ideal for this. Dermacolor Camouflage Creme 4 g (D 30) is then applied to the dark areas of the tattoo. Dermacolor Camouflage Creme 4 g (D red B) is applied over the red pigment of the design.
Step 2Dermacolor Fixing Powder 20 g (P 1) is now pressed in firmly with a powder puff to set the Dermacolor. This is then left for fifteen minutes before removing the excess powder with a brush. This process ensures that the Dermacolor Camouflage System will be completely waterproof.
Step 3To ensure a perfect color match swatches can be tested on the surrounding skin. Testing in daylight will achieve the most natural tone. Once selected conceal by stippling the skin tone over the corrective colors. Using this stippling technique produces a more natural looking finish.
Step 4When the concealing is complete ensure the edges blend smoothly into the natural skin tone. Make-up Blend 30 ml can be a helpful product during this process. It liquefies the Dermacolor Camouflage Creme 4 g to a sheer consistency. Following this repeat step 2 to fix the layer on the surface.
Step 5When camouflaging larger areas, especially when the application isn’t on the face, it is important to add both the natural flecks of color and freakles visible in the natural skin. In this case Dermacolor Camouflage Creme 4 g (D 32) is mixed with Make-up Blend 30 ml and stippled lightly over the arm.
Step 6After this detail has been applied repeat the setting process as in step 2. In areas prone to friction with clothing, and to bring a natural sheen back to the surface of the skin, Dermacolor Fixing Spray can be applied for extra durability and resistance.
